check my reply in the good guy/bad guy...honestly it doesnt look good for you man, if they have its probably been dogged to all hell and wont drive nice any more.i really hope this all works out for you though
lol hes not kidding, but at this point you might not want it back, i have seen what happens to cars that get returned after being taken, and i assure you they are not taking good car of your car, they are driving the living hell out of it, i know of one guy who got his car back after it got taken the damage was well disturbing, from the look of things it seems like they ran it at redline all night long we guess they probably did, as in they jacked it up gave it a full tank and sat back till th headers were white hot, a lot of things were very wrong with his car after he got it back
wanna be more specific with the details? like how long have they had your car? what kind of car is it? what was being done to it? anything would help. like they said, if you can't get ahold of em, call the cops
it has happened and dont go so far as to think that a worker there with the idea in his head that hes got nothing to lose and a car to play with might do that the guy that i was talking about had his car stolen and taken for a joy ride with all intentions to ruin the car (it had also been in quite a bit of mud and bushes we think) It can happen. Ok, here is the complete details on this . . I dropped the car off May 28th, 2006 to have a 3.15L installed built for my turbosystem they designed and installed on my car . . I was the first 1995+ car that they had, they built the jigs off my car. They were also supposed to figure out what they were doing for stand-alone, install that, and make all my piping aluminum. There was more too I just can't remember all the details. I payed them $5500 cash up front to pay for all the parts and I had atleast been hearing from them on occasion last summer. Then starting around September it was very difficult to get in touch with them, and I would go a couple weeks with out talking to Steve. Now the last time I talked to him was sometime in March, I seriously think if he has actually been telling the truth that every family member he has is either going blind, fighting cancer, or dying? So then in April I get a call from the Wauconda Police Dept. saying they found my car abondoned in a parking lot. I freaked the fornicate out! When I calmed down I asked where and they told me 1210 Karl Ct. which is where their shop is located, so I settled down but I haven't been able to get in contact with them since then . . I'll try this Matt character and see if I can get in touch with him, otherwise I'm taking a trip down there this Sunday to scope things out and see if my car is still parked out front of their shop . . I don't know what else to do but call the cops after that? Oh and Jesse, I'm the kid from Green Bay, WI, you're car and my car were there at the same time a couple of times. It's the 1998 Sebring, gold, blitz body kit, turbocharged obviously . . I think you know which one I'm talking about ?

cal the cops now let them know whats going on and do your own investigating as well its worth it to get your car back cause the cops might not get on it right away(gotta eat some donuts first) but yeah i would take the trip down there and call the cops as well go to the better business and tell them if the companyis not a corporation the owner still has liability and you can sue for his possessions.even uder banruptcy i believe. get a lawyer as well...a good one sue the owner for court costs.
Normaly i would stay awa from the courts since so many people sue nowadays but his time its a real GOOD reason. I wish you the best of luck with this man.
