Seeing as im SO FRICKIN DETERMINED to get this 4disc changer, i spoke to a guy at radiosandmore.com and someone at Chrysler, and they said the plugs should match up perfectly, BUT since the face of the 4 disc changer is OVAL and the old CD player is RECTANGULAR & the screws dont match up exactly i would probably run into some minor cosmetic trouble.....BUT, if i somehow tried to remove the old kit from the 4 disc changer, and put on the old (aftermarket) kit and modified and mounted it just right, would that work?

no where does this say that it fits pre 2001 models. :headscratch:

I would be leary about getting it, if you are not sure of the connectors fitting. The stock cd/radio that comes witht he infintiy system has one disc, and to add more, you had to purchase a cd changer for the trunk (as per the dodge catalogs from the Avenger era). They did make mutli-disc radios, but Chrysler Corp said that they were not made.

Maybe it was just becuase of fitment plate issues, I dunno. I guess the only way to check would be to remove the radio, check the plugs in the back.

Ok, Well i looked at my radio harness, and it has 2 8pin wires, so according to the discription i got off of ebay :

  Works With:

01/02 Sebring, Avenger & Stratus      Coupe (2 Door)

  Code:

  RBB

  Mounting Style:

 4 screw Flush hard mount

  Plug Style:

 2 plug: 1-8 pin gray & 1-8 pin black

  Color:

 Black

So im thinkin it will work, jus trying to fit it in there is gonna be the problem..

Ok, so the cd changer came yesterday. It fit pretty good after some minor modifications. But if anyone else tries to do it just make sure u have the right one...there are 2 types of 4 disc changers, you have to make sure that you get the one that matches up w/the plugs in the back.

Well thanks for everyones help
