     I understand you DZA but you also have to remember that this is a choice and there are going to be people that will react in that maner. Alain has every right to do what he did and you have every right to do what you did however he also has the right to never listen to it. If we can all let the thing go and just respect each other then it will be ok, remember all you are asked to do is plant the seed you have done your job. If you feel you have no need to appologize then i would have to agree you never said anything that was wrong you stated your beliefs. Alain stated his. There was a Dissagreement and its unfortunate, IT CAN be worked out and we must all learn to respect each other Turbo is right this is a family and respect is very important in any family.

I love all you guys and i hope this wont camouflage the type of people you are.

and lastly...if u guys can all be ok with what was said in that forum...look past it...i will have more respect for each and everyone of u than i've had for anyone else...u guys being able to do something that the ppl who "run" the world cant do...says a lot.

I suppose i agree but like i said this may be a car club and a car site but its general topic(there are tech topics where only car things need to be posted) is about general things this is a group of people and cars are one facet of our lives same as tattoos movies and many of the other things that have been posted on that tab. I agree with JBI unless everyone can listen and talk in a fair and controlled way when no one tries to force ideas on the others then that is the only time things will truly work this is the real world and not everyone will agree or believe what you do its important though to not take it to personal or too serious and accept the differences in peoples lives. I tried to only supply the information that i had learned in that thread, and not try to preach i know what i know and i believe in that knowledge. however it IS nothing but a belief and therefore it is not a fact and it is a decision that others have to choose or rebuke if they so wish. however to limit this site to only car talk would kill a lot of the brotherhood like feeling that has been made i know i am only a newbie on the site but from reading the past posts it is sad to see that people can be so stubborn as to let one thread mean they are leaving, if it was offensive as there are going to be times that something said will be then you should remove yourself from that aspect there are many threads on this site not JUST that one. Its a real shame that people cant respect others beliefs, so with that said Good bye Alain you will be missed. As for the rst of us we should take this as a learning experience and try to be repectful of others opinions.

Just giving 'my' view, not saying you must agree. It's the internet baby, does not conform to everyone, especially in a general forum. Alain (if you still around) you have been a tremendous asset to both sites, hate to see you give up on this site after years of devotion and advice (I'm grateful to you) just because of one thread that got controversial. From one old timer to another, wish you would stick around, lot of us need your help. This thread caught me in a bad week at work and I might have unloaded, certainly not at you or anyone else. If your gone, I will understand and respect your decision, and you will be missed. I'm not apologizing for my beliefs, just sorry if it makes some uneasy. I too am done with this thread, kinda fun while it lasted

Part of religion - most of them anyway - is tolerance for others. When the convo turns to religion, I'll offer a viewpoint and then leave it at that.

Some can deal with differing viewpoints better than others.
