Want to know the difference between alain and schoeby and the rest who did the swap and yourself.. YOU have no initative.
Stop asking so many damn questions, break out the visa, and start bolting stuff together.. this isn't efffin rocket science.
Here is ALL you need to know
2.4L shortblock, NOT the SRT version (different crank trigger) you need to be able to cut and weld the oil pan OR weld up a new front roll mount that doesn't rely on the stock lateral member you need to swap the wires on the coil.. and i think .. compare the crank trigger marks vs the stock crank.. that's the key.. rewire the injectors so 2>1 3>2 4>3 1>4 weld up a new side motor mount..
i think that's it... oh.. get a 2.4L timing belt and an underdrive (uuuugh) crank pulley..
and don't do a 5sp swap at the same time your doing an engine swap.. the wiring can get messy.
that's it.. stop your belly aching.. go do it.

BTW, I agree with Turbo and JBI, lets not whore around in the tech area. We have a perfectly good forum for that. DT is the only MOD that is ever active. The only other is DZ and he only drops in like once a month. We need another mod, so DT doesn't have to worry about all of it.

I am leasing a 2005 base model so base it don't have ABS LOL my lease is up in November and well I am going to buy the car at the end of the lease. well I just wanted to know if the motor out of the PT Cruiser turbo is the same as the one I have in mine I have the 2.4 DOHC and can not find any performance parts anywhere not even suspension. I went on to andysautosport.com and even called them to find out if the parts would fit and they don't know. SOMEONE HELP ME OUT LOL

uhhmm first off what car do you have?? you might be in the wrong place here. we deal with avenger/sebring platforms. my guess is you have a pt cruiser. if so google a forum for it.im sure someone else will have the info for the motors
