Just cause I know and I wanna make myself SOUND knowledgable. It comes out of a PT Cruiser. Aiain has the 2.4 Turbo swap I believe. And also, if Im not mistaken, He has done quite a bit of fabrication to make it work
So, you would not advise putting a 2.4 in. And you say that the 2.4 is more of a workhorse so.... do you think i could make the 2.0 faster than a 2.4?
what do YOU want ? turbo ? all motor ? can you work with metal ? can you weld ? do you have a workspace ? do you have serious tools ? can you live with a car downs for weeks ?
a 2.4 can produce 50 whp more than a 2.0 with a similar all motor setup that's IF you can built parts that no ones make including a TRUE LONG TUBE HEADERS a 2.0 will never break the 200 whp barrier it has been tried several times and they can't go past 185 whp a 2.4 can make 235-240 whp it was done several times in neons
turbo you could have a good engine with srt-4 internals final price would be about the same as 2.0 with wiseco/JE pistons and eagle rods however a 2.4 turbo will produce about 35% more hp with the same turbo

i apologize, i misread how you were saying what you were saying. I thought you were trying to shoot down the idea. But now i realize you were trying to help. My goals for the car is to make it so i can compete with the cocky hondas at my school. How to do that, i dunno.
