And at least it's an easy fix.  It's almost easier than Oil!

well i got an update.....

replaced my radiator BUT there is still a problem.  i think i got headgasket problem.   my exhaust is smoking like crazy.  here what happened:

yesterday i noticed that my "low coolant" light came on (i've had that thing come up 2 days before that, so i filled it up to "full").  that made me curious and worried because how could a whole reservoir be drained in 2 days.  thats when i noticed my radiator problem.  i got upset and talked to my step-dad, he said the only solution is to get a new radiator.  so i got in my car and started to drive to the autoparts store.  i noticed that in my rear view mirror some kind of smoke, it was my car.  i pulled over (i was still in my neighborhood) and saw this smoke just coming out of my exhaust pipe... i was confused since i had no clue why it started to smoke that bad, so i drove back and parked it.  used step-dad's car to get auto parts.

today, replaced the radiator, no problem.  started the car, idled 'till it got to the normal heat temperature and just observed if i needed to add more coolant.  then of course i wanted to take it for a spin.  i started to drive around my driveway.  1st round i started to notice same problem about some smoke, by the 2nd lap i saw those clouds of smoke coming from the exhaust as yesterday.  got back to my house and showed it to my step-dad....   he thinks it could be headgasket, which is possibly why i am smoking and also why i got crack in the radiator due to compression pulses (or he said something like that)....

what do u guys think?  possible headgasket symptom?Huh  Cry Cry Cry Cry Cry
i will take my car to an auto shop and stick those emission things in my pipe and try to see what exactly i am smoking.... *sigh*

any feedback is welcome,

thank you

This is a bit more info than you gave me!  I think it's a headgasket issue.

You were out of coolant.  So your smoking stopped.  You filled your coolant, and ran your car.  No smoking, because your coolant wasn't released into your cooling system.  You got up to operating temperature and that released the coolant into your system (and compression chambers) and you started smoking again.

well from the look of it... its not steam, it does not condensate on my hand when i put my hand to the muffler, and it does not smell like coolant.  so honestly i don't think that could be headgasket  Undecided

maybe bad valve seals
