Criminals survive because society is fearful

Bad piston rings, from the former owners beating on it. My guess anyway. Time to upgrade the internals.

You could bad valve seats on the exhuast valves and start leaking into the exhuast cambers after it been running for a while. Or bad oil rings.

I am guessing bad valve seats, because it is having problems starting. We will do a compression check soon.

Ok. I probably have bad valve seals. When you say it smokes, is it like the smoke that comes off your engine when you spill a little oil on it and the engine burns it off or is it coming out of the tail pipe?

Alright so a nun walks into a bar...

I'm having that problem a little. burning oil , little bit of a smoke haze ( not all the time ) , but something that has freaked me out is if I turn on my A/C and leave my car at idle it starts choking like it is going to die. . Also it can start acting like this when I first start to accelerate from a dead stop. seems like it does not want to go. I'm having my cousin look at it. ( I dont know much about cars , but he has exp. under his belt ) later

my exhaust smoke is visible. the smell of it reminds me of a mid 80's ford truck.

Throw in a can of engine retsorer and see if that helps any. I have 223K+ miles on my Venge. Use that stuff on every oil change [along with STP and Marvels Mystery oil] and I have never had oil related problems. You could also try running a 20W50 weight oil to help oil consumption. Also, replace the PVC to make sure you aren't sucking oil past that. If that is your Venger in the pictures it looks like it is worth putting a few bucks into anyways. I spent nearly $3K on new heads, timing belt and tranny two years ago and it was worth every penny.
