Yes, that would by my avenger and i've thought about running some restorer through it but also thinking about going to synthetic. But, if that doesn't solve the problem then synthetic is too expensive to keep adding. Do i need to change the oil when i add restorer?

yes. the restorer works with fresh oil. find out where the consumption is coming from and then switch. you will notice a torque increase depending on how well you are in tune with your car.

don't use synthetic oil, 1st your car is too damn old for it (too much wear inside) and 2nd its a waste of money for the same results as normal one

Until we get your oil consumption problem under control I suggest using the high mileage... we will switch ya up to a 10w30 or 10w40 also.
20w50 is too thick.

Trust us on this Ivan. Nykon and I have had to give up on explaining to the stupid people who ask us why their oil broke down so damn quick and friccaseed their internals.

no 10w30 is fine.
HD 30 is a Straight thirty weight, meaning that when it is hot it is the same viscosity as when it is cold.
10 w 30 is 10 weight when cold, 30 weight when hot.
