High beam relay replacement
« on: May 12, 2008, 04:46:02 PM »

My high beams haven't worked for a while now and I just got a set of dealer service manuals off e-bay that let me trace the problem to the high beam relay, mounted beside the daytime running light ECU under the front bumper.  I checked mine out and sure enough it was rusted right off!  The problem is that nobody, not even the dealer, lists a replacement part for it in their lookups.  It's just not in the system.  Anyone else run into this, and what did you buy and where did you get it?

For anyone who finds this in a Google search, here's the part:

We finally figured it out by matching the line art in the dealer service manual with the artwork in the parts lookup.  It was listed as a 'Horn and additional equipment relay'...  argh!
