I have 2 JL 15w3's... I love em', except for the fact that I'm too lazy to build a vented box for them I had a 15" audiobahn ultra high excursion in my blazer.... I guess it really depends on what type of music you listen to and how you like to listen to it...
The camera can't pick it up very good.. but I'd say I'm hitting close to 132-136 dB's inside the car. I hit 134-135 last year in another car.. but they seem alot louder in the Sebring though... probably because the bigger trunk space.
I don't want to keep them long though... I'm selling them very cheap.

Back in the day I had a single 15 in a sealed box.. wasn't very loud.. but it sounded GREAT.. db is a pointless measure.. quality of sound.. much more important..
Then again.. i doubt most of you guys listen to blues.. so tight natural well produced bass is a lost cause as most of the crap music of today (pretty much all of it) is just boomy and sloppy and drones with mushy bass guitar and overly bright vocals and mids..

ok Admin, I back you up completely on the Quality of Sound over Quantity.
And to sidestep that a bit, a guy I used to work with had a SINGLE 10 [yes a single 10] that would out perform [hit and quality of sound] every dual 12 or 15 setup in the county. It's all about what you do with what you have. If you have a rock, a missile, and a nuke at your disposal, stop wasting the nuke on the fire ants.
when it was original.. it was 12 cubic feet internal..
i might have to build another when the seabitch gets back on the road.
