Big props to the folks behind this place, and I love asog.  I made a proposal in DT's vote thread, and I though it would not hurt to put it here as well.  Why not let the thread creator specify?  Make it a requirement in any new threads to put an (L) or (S) at the end of the thread title.  "L" being loose, and "S" being Strict.  If its in an S thread, anything not related and to the point gets deleted.  In the other ones, it can be cleaned up at request like Shiano said.

i don't mind having Mcgyvr around. As long as he wants to contribute and not take away. Nothing stays the same forever. Nothing.

What Enemy said here seems like a very good idea. Props to it. It would be very organized.

Although most of us should know the difference between a strict thread and loose thread and should take the responsibility to keep it clean.

I myself am a strong supporter of a clean forum and only post in the tech forums if I think I can help... I was an experienced member on another forum before this and the search button was brought up alot but in a more friendly way then ASEC. We also kept the forum organized and the bad stuff out.

Mcgyver is right about the certain topics that should be left alone.
