I would just like as many ppl as possible to post their engine speed at 55mph.(automatics only & speed must be taken while in cruise/over drive). Numbers should be either in 50's or 100's that is..1900 1950 or 2000 no 1975. this has to be with the hvac system OFF. Also list engine/transmission modifications. thank you.

My 99 (V6) said about 2100 for 55 mph. 80 was 3000

with hvac on-mine's closer to 2000, but with it off, its smack in the middle at 1950
thanks shiano (what modification/s did u have?), hopefully i can get some more. i just wanted to see some comparison as to how modifications affect ur rpm at that particular speed. i thought i posted mine, but didnt.
also please make sure ur not going up or down a hill. it would be nice to see ur numbers compared to others stick I4's DT....and autos. the more modifications the more interesting (i hope).

that was a stock number. with the CAI i think it dropped 100 or 200 rpm.

my '95 v6 venge is approx. 2000 to 2200—can't remember exactly where in between those numbers, but i think it's usually around 2100 or so at 55mph. only major mods i have are CAI and dual exhaust.

I have the I4 with 5 speed. I have CAI, High flow manifold, and 2.5 exhaust. 3rd - 3350, 4th - 2500, 5th -1850

O this is getting really interesting. now if i can get a 5 spd to compare with DT's...(nykon and someone else). todd..i think urs is high, and shiano's and everyone else's is right around where it should be. even though u guys all drive differently, im sure u can be a good judge for ur mileage. on a "good day" what do you get?
