yea you cant replace a cam sensor... you have to replace the distributor. so i hope you didnt pay for them seperately. crank sensor is about 40 dollars.
wait a F***ing minute!!!!! Sweet, remember when you told me you had a cam sensor code? what if that was the little red flag that we were looking for, except we just overlooked it?
$1100 sounds kinda steep, considering I just got done putting a lil over 3 grand in my venge. But that bought me a bulletproof trans, all new mounts, driveshafts, balljoints, calipers an rotors, new main an rod bearings, distributor, plugs an wires, starter, o2 sensors. I think theres a few more things but i cant remember, and i did all the work myself, im sure most of that $1100 was probably labor, a good days work woulda been half of that 1100. I think the shop rate round here is about 55-65 bucks an hour. but i dont trust nobody but me on my car

yeah, about 450 was labor. Yes shiano, the cam sensor was the first thing. I know i'm a moron. It's ok. I defenately learned from my mistakes this time.
....i thought about it...then reconsidered when "dropping" in noun form is..something else.(bird droppings for example)..this shoulda gone to that other topic about local names for popular things.
