once i get the fiberglass thick enough, can i use a dremel and carve into it like you carve into wood? or will it start shattering at me?

its prolly gonna crack.  ive never done that but i have 10yrs of body expierence and im pretty sure its gon chip and crack on you.  maybe at a low enough speed with a higher grit paper and paitents, youll be able to get it to work.

umm no offense, but i believe it it takes the shape of its container its liquid. Tongue -just highly viscous

as for the fiberglass cracking...i've dremeled it before. high speed, low torque, PERFECT.

Ok. i have a nice layer of FG on......... it's 4 hours later and it's not completely hard. it's about 70+ish. below 78. suggestions? can i (future reference) spread hardener over the FG after i apply it or does it religiously have to be mixed in before application?

ok it is now 16 hours later and it is still sticky what did i do wrong? there are parts of it that are not as sticky as others. its sticky like tack cloth, in some spots and like a glue stick in others.

You have to mix the hardener with the resin before you spread it.

on that note. before i mixed ( Wink) the hardener in, the resin was a brownish color. almost like beer.
