according to the picture on the website the ignition switch is the electrical piece behind the key cylinder that i used to turn the car on with a screwdriver, it has a little notch in it that turns with the key
oooooh!! Before I forget, when I installed my remote start I accidentally unplugged the ignition switch just a little bit and it wouldn't start. Well it would start with the remote but not with the key. I would make sure that you didn't accidentally unplug the switch a little. Also, the ignition switches we sell come as a the whole lock cylinder/electrical switch assembly and if you have keyless entry it may have screwed something up if you separated them.
I can call Theresa tomorrow at Chrysler and see what she has to say about it.

yeah i was reading something like that, but most places sell the whole kit (key and switch) and some just sell the switch, they only ask you about auto/manual when you want the whole kit and they dont ask you anything when you just want the switch so i am assuming its the same switch for everyone?
