Had to ditch the sebring
« on: February 07, 2007, 01:51:09 PM »

Had my 96 since 01 and had to get rid of her.  The tranny was acting up again and who knows how much longer it would have lasted, and it sounded horrible.  As far as i can tell the torque converter was messed and the car wasnt worth putting another tranny in.
With those issues and 167000 miles i still managed to get 700 on the trade in and picked up a 99 regal gs.  Superchargers are fun.

Pictures of the sebring available shortly....

Pictures of new car.

My tranny was rebuilt before i bought it, then after about 10k miles it went out, had to put a new one in.  Then it was going out again.  So it went through 3.

I've never seen that badge before.  My buddy had the Supercharged Regal and he didn't have that badge.

straight from a top chrysler mechanic, that solenoid i told everyone about when i first joined is the main culprit. when it goes out a rebuild never works properly unless its replaced.

*cough* grandma *cough*

When we bought the Subaru my wife yelled at a salesman because he tried to sell her a Buick.  I believe her exact words were, "Its a nice car, I really like it but I am not a friggin grandma."
