That is the short one piece intake.. there's the longer 2 piece one that I have from chrome intakes, And it's positioned real good close to the ground. I had to cut some plastic under there though to get the filter in there nice.

(off topic, I don't know how to insert mutiple quotes, I tryed, wasnt working lol)

I would really rather have the two piece, but like Anthony said, there is a lot of moisture on the ground in the midwest (I live in Indiana).  Is that really a concern?

yea i think moisture does become sort of an issue when you live in the midwest but i guess if u have this bypass valve i would defn go ahead and get a 2 piece but only if i had the valve just cause im only 17 and if i hydrolock my car im not getting a new one anytime soon

I never had a problem with water coming up the intake.

And if you get the 2 piece full intake for only like 10$ more you can use it as a one piece all the time and use the 2nd extension piece on dry days. I dont see no loss in getting the full kit.

Hey DT,help me convince these guys they should buy a good quality one (that ain't so cheap).  Cause if they spend more they will get better quality & performance, and they will appreciate it more.
