YEUP..
I might put mine in the dash anyway. Seems more sporty. Then after I do that I can through any nice shifter on there.

if you want to turn overdrive on and off you'll either have to : figure out how to make it work with the new shifter; wire up a toggle switch to turn it on or off; or just turn on overdrive and dont hook up anything so it always stays on.
