wheel spacers
« on: January 26, 2007, 11:13:25 AM »

Has anyone here ever used wheel spacers to widen the stance of your avenger/sebring/eclipse?

If so, recommend? Why or why not?

Thanks,
Shiano

It DEPENDS on thickness..
Too thick you have to put in longer wheel studs , Wheel studs that lond SCARE me ... Also that increases the amount of torque on the wheel hub and bearing assembly ...

Torque required to keep it tight, or the torque the wheel puts on them under acceleration etc.?

I'm only going to bring it out about 15 mm or so on each side. I want it to have a wider looking stance.

Both the torques are increased , 15mm is probably going to need longer wheel studs
