I need one cheap and fast.  I tore mine up yesterday.  I lost the cat back on a nasty bump/construction spot, and it caused my cat to drop, stretching out the flex section.  I can't get it re compressed all the way cause the braiding ripped.  I'm achieving money pit status now.    I can't find anyone local places that can get them, and didn't want to go the dealer route yet, cause I know there gonna rape me.  I was able to get the Bosal for 380 shipped, no way i'm gonna pay that much for just a flex pipe.

Ok.  I just ordered a 10" section of SS Flex pipe, I'm gonna try cutting out the bad section and welding a new in.  Good thing I can weld SS.  I'm not that good, but i'm sure I can make it work.  Best price I found was 209 on eBay, but it wasn't the exact same pipe.  Mine doesn't have O2 Bungs on it and this one had 3.  Different year I guess.

What do you mean???  The dp for 35 bucks???  That's how much the Flex section cost me.

Never mind,  I found what your talking about.  Nice downpipes for 2 bills and they look like they flow much better.  I wasn't looking to even spend that much though.  I was trying to find a quick fix cause I just spent close to 400 on the cat back and the rest of the pipe is fine.  Just the flex section that's messed up.  I can weld in the replacement no prob and it should last me long enough.  I just need it to last me to Aug-Sept, then i'm good.

I bought it anyway.  Got frustrated with the old rusted parts and broke a few things.  I ordered the downpipe and a new cat from Scott last night.  Can't wait.

Looks awesome, Scott does some nice work.  I can't wait to get this thing in.  I'm going to put the new exhaust system on right after work.  Should be no prob with all new parts.

One question I do have for Scott or anyone else that has installed this downpipe, does it require the removal of both or one of the precats?  On my car, I have 2 small precats, one off of each header.  Do I remove the front one, leaving the only the rear, or leave both?  From the look of this down pipe, it looks like they both stay.  Also, my OEM down pipe had only one O2 bung on it, this one has 3.  2 of the bungs are on the rear pipe section.  I won't need to use those bungs.  Do I just plug them up.  Please excuse the questions because the car is in my garage and if I need to pick anything up, I'd like to do it on the way home so I don't have to go back out.
