Alright here are some pics. And a walk through.
Thermostat Change/Coolant Flush
First empty your coolant through the drain plug

Remove the lower radiator hose. and drain the remaining fluid.
Remove the upper radiator hose from the T-Stat housing.
Remove the two bolts holding the housing to the head.

Pull the old T-Stat from the housing.

Use brake cleaner or similar substance to remove the old gasket and any dirt build up from BOTH sides of the housing.

If your new T-Stat came with an O-Ring remove it.
Put the new T-Stat on the Engine side of the T-Stat Housing
Put the New gasket over the new T-stat
Put the T-Stat housing back on (two bolts)
Reconnect the upper and lower radiator hoses.
Leave the drain plug open and pour water through the system until only water pours out. This ensures all the old coolant is out. Let the water drain completely
Tighten the drain plug. Pour in the new coolant.
Check your coolant level over the next couple of days filling as needed (it takes a bit to get the coolant everywhere).
Oil Change
Jack the front end of your car up. Use car jacks to stabilize the front end.
Place some kind of container that can hold six quarts of oil, under the drain plug and oil filter.

remove the drain plug

after the oil finished draining remove the filter

take a bit of oil and smear it along the gasket on the oil filter, this ensures a complete seal.

put the oil drain plug back in.

Pour FOUR AND A HALF!! quarts of oil into the valve cover. Put the oil cap back on.

Run the engine for about ten minutes. Check the oil level. Add as needed.
