ok so ive seen the things called tornado and other ones as well off ebay and in stores. so are they the real deal or just a useless waste of money? just curious i guess.

A stupid waste of money  Roll Eyes  It's designed to spin the air in the intake ... If you really want to try one there are plans on the internet to cut them out of tin/alminum ...
car and driver/road and track have all dyno tested them with dismal results

absolutly f-ing serious, those are not "powered" so they can't suck air in, they just get in the way, they do SUCK, do not buy one

There is a difference when you use one though...as redstar said...it takes up space..if it actually DOES what it supposedly does "spin the air" that is...that just makes the air take a loooooooonger path to the cylinders giving it more time to heat up causing less dense air. the fact that it would spin off the inside of the plenum and all would mean its absorbing more heat...of course this "spin" wouldnt last past the tb...

which is the exact opposite of what they claim them to do… lol

it's like someone posted on here b4 in regards to this topic. you're basically putting a cut up coke can in your intake.
