Thanks for being so conciderate, but I'm convinced that going to work myself to death all alone and miserable.....just like things are now.  I had dreams of living a better life once, but then I reallized that "they" are too big, and too powerful, and they already have all the money.  The stupid people have absolute control, and smart-common sense people like me will die never knowing what name brand cereal tasted like.

i'm very cautious as my gf gave away $400 of our savings to some guy over the phone cuz she "couldnt say no." the thing is, the more motivated ppl there are, the better the chance of u being successful.

yeah, ppl like that tend to "prey" on the elderly, for that reason. that and a lot of them will do whatever to have someone to talk with—since ppl, in general, don't tend to take the time they should with their elderly relatives.

…and a 'few' very motivated people can make some cash.

very, very, very, VERY motivated people! i donno, there's just something about trying to push a product i don't believe in (and being a pushy salesman) that doesn't do it for me. def not my thing.

But you are to use your knowledge for EVIL, not good, never for good.  Good: is dumb, Evil: is cool.

ok.a good example.

PPL (Pre-Paid Legal)

When you sign on you become an Associate (there is virtually no pressure to join). For every membership you sell, you get a $60 check.
Once you have sold five (5) and five only memberships you become a Manager. Every membership you sell you get a $175 check.
It's real. It's legit. and SEVERAL people have made one years WAGES (thats 2080 HOURS of sweating your a$$ off) in under one hour. LEGALLY.

Why do they not tell you what the business is right there on the spot?
The average American attention span is less than 3 minutes. Anyone have significant others that play VERY little video games? Try explaining to them HOW to play your favorite game WITH you (because you want someone to play with/against) in under 3 minutes. You end up sounding very stupid and they end up getting frustrated with YOU (not the game. regardless) and don't to play. "This is stupid! I'll never be good at this! I'll never be as good as you are!"

Those are all things I heard from Melody (my fiance). Then I changed gears and taught her the basics first.
How to look around. OBSERVE.
next:
How to Move: Mobility.
then:
How to track(locate) other players: Investigate or Interact
finally:
How to start your attack: Make your move.

MLM works the same way. You didn't hit the ground running when the doctor slapped you on the ass at birth so you're obviously not going to be Superman in the rest of your life. Just as with a regular 9-5, you have to be TRAINED first.
When I was contacted for PPL, it was as I was installing a battery in a 1995 Ford ThunderChicken (65 group battery). A Manager (PPL) was training his Associate on how to properly meet potential Associates or Clients. I fell into the Associate category because of how much of a people person I was. The Manager handed me a DVD (Tool) and told me to watch it whenever was convenient to me and that he would call me within a couple of days.
I told him that I'd rather not give out my number just yet and he was very understanding about it and put his cell number on the back of the DVD sleeve. After this I told him that if he wanted to, he could contact me through email because that would be the most reliable or easiest way of contacting me (which it is).
I asked him what the business was and he admitted that if he told me in his own words that he would mess up the true mission of the company and would sound stupid doing it. He invited me to the next meeting they had (Todd, unh-uh). I took the DVD home and finally ended up watching it the day before the meeting. I called him back and he even offered to drive me up there, so we met at a gas station here in town and drove up there, attended the meeting (there were ALOT of people there and they weren't noobs either. they were from the Alabama, Tennessee, N. and S. Carolina) and later he took me, his Associate, and his sister (also an Associate) out to eat at AppleBee's while we discussed the meeting and the business. The meeting took an hour in which I learned ALOT.
There was no pressure to join or do anything. I was unfortunately unable to join because of time constraints at work (it's amazing how the most stable things in our lives hold us back from so much greatness) but anyone can join and the Manager kinda foresaw that I would be unable to join so he gave me a list of names and numbers that were above him (yes above) in case I still wanted too one day.

Sorry about the novel but not everything can be explained by Comic books.

that's all well and good, if it's your thing and you wanna pursue it. not for me. i understand these things are legit, but they are WAAAAY more work than i'm willing to put into it. the thing is, the 2 times i've been approached by ppl like that, there was always this secrecy and they always walked around subjects dealing with exactly what the business was about—wouldn't even give me a general idea or objective. even when i went to one of the meetings it was that way. yeah, i went to one… mainly b/c the way the guy who approached me worded everything he told me it seemed like he was looking for a freelance graphic designer—which is what i do—so i decided to see what it was all about. i'm not saying what you're talking about is a scam, but that experience threw all kinds of red flags up to me.

if they can't explain it at the meetings, then it's something to stay away from.

the good ones won't tell you right off what it is, but they will make sure it doesn't cost you anything to find out at the monthly meetings.
any of them that you have to invest a little at first are iffy. the ones where an Associate can show you without it costing you anything are the ones to go for.... if you're not lazy.
don't worry todd.  Cheesy

one controversial way of explaining it is that it's kinda like illegal immigrants who send the money they make back home. this is only meant as an example.

Imagine you live in a desert town with a limited water supply of 100 gallons. If you drink one gallon, the next day that gallon will be replaced (don't worry about HOW this is just an example). You will never run out of water as long as you DRINK the water THERE.
Now imagine someone is shipping 2 gallons of that water out per day. It leaves the area thus the limited supply permenantly decreases by 2 gallons each day. 98 96 94 92.... etc. pretty soon there is no water left and everyone dies of thirst. it's like a leech on the economy.

now substitute the word water with money and gallon with dollar.

I thought it would be funny to do this...

Imagine you live in a desert town with a limited money supply of 100 dollars. If you drink one dollar, the next day that dollar will be replaced (don't worry about HOW this is just an example). You will never run out of money as long as you DRINK the money THERE.
Now imagine someone is shipping 2 dollars of that money out per day. It leaves the area thus the limited supply permenantly decreases by 2 gallons each day. 98 96 94 92.... etc. pretty soon there is no money left and everyone dies of thirst. it's like a leech on the economy.
