I always have problems like this! I know something is wrong, but I don't get a check light on. It has more than one symptom and those don't even happen all the time.
1. occationally it doesn't want to start when cold it gets fire, but stalls out 2. it doesn't always have power "like it always should" 3. my RPM's are low when I come to a stop, occationally stalls, but never dies 4. idle rough & low sometimes 5. car runs fine down highway 6. occationally hear a "thumping" sound from where my evap system is......could that be it?
(started reply) Now that think about it, I had my TB bored out and I think it may have affected my TPS. The IAC isn't that old, I replaced it some time ago just for the hell of it. If it is my TPS sensor, wouldn't it stall out completely when I come to a stop after driving? I might replace the TB with the original, then see if that makes a difference. (stop, gone to work on car)
(5 minutes later) Engine was cold, started up just fine I just turned up my idle on the TB, now just below 1K rpm's (this should affect my TPS)
When I started it up earlier it had been sitting a day or so, so now we'll see Tomorrow (Monday) morning I'll see how it starts
TSB? what?
Oh yeah,.....the TPS isn't that old either

spark plugs or ecu. rough idle, check ur tps, this is definitely responsible w/o question. IAC should be fine. check ur mileage after turning up ur idle. ur city mileage will decrease.
did you replace the wiring harness (if entire assembly). also did you replace the strainer (sock, pump filter) in the tank when you did the pump. "Master" brand fuel pumps now REQUIRE the strainer to be replaced in order to validate the warranty.
Everything from the access plate down sells as an assembly. I think it may be an air/fuel mix problem, but it seems to be an intermittant problem because it doesn't do any of the symptoms all the time. As soon as I get more time and better weathter I'm going to check vacuum hoses and take pics of my car.
This morning : check engine light came on ; MIL code 24 Lunch break : light on, went to Autozone, had them plug in computer, got Scan code 0123 : TPS high voltage Left Autozone : no MIL light went back to work Got off work : no MIL light, in Park, at idle, just fine in Drive, on road at stop light, idle low On highway I had power like it always should, sometimes it does it, sometimes not. So WFT? It's definitely an air/fuel problem or what? Does the TB idle adjustment I made have anything to do with that? If I turn it down it might idle low and stall out. I don't want to buy a TPS or IAC motor unless that solves the problem.
