Christmas Tree.... real or fake

Just got our tree this evening, the old fashion way. Walked thru acres of trees for about an hour. found "our" tree, cut it down by hand, during a lite snow, it was great! I was curious how many still do real trees or do the pre-wired plastic smellin fake thing, not there there's anything wrong with that Wink

. Just wondering...

Plastic tree here. I have roommates and parties and a real tree would be too much for us to deal with. But when there are no more roommates I'll be back to the old ways. I perfer the real thing.

plastic, i am an animal owner so i always had a problem with a real tree. The plastic one holds up better to the abuse

My fiance and I have a plastic tree. I prefer the real thing, but pets really do a number on a real one. Santa still doesn't seem to mind though. Grin

We have a pre lit fake tree only b/c I'm allergic to the real ones Sad

I tried the fake tree bid this year.... I was nearly castrated for even suggesting it. Shocked

Now I have this tree shedding on my carpet in the corner of the room.

real one. get one every year. when xmas time is over, we cut the tree trunk down to have a yule log for next year. so in essence, one tree lasts 2 years for us. we have a zoo at our house too and don't seem to have any trouble with the pets. the gliders like to climb it and the ferret tries to steal ornaments and hide them in the oddest places. the cats could care less and just lay under it occasionally batting an ornament or two, and the dogs don't seem to even care about it.

we have a fake tree b/c its easier and we found one for 30 bucks last year (marked down about 100).

and to settle the hockey thing... Sens cheat... I think they use two goalies at the same time. Leafs.. are they playing this year? I get the Leafs and Blues confused this season (they're both just as "good"). Go Flyers!
