There may be some fun engineering involved. Also... can you get the whole turbo or just the centersection? Keep in mind that you also want to consider the size of the turbo in relation to turbo lag, overspooling. Then you also have to consider the kind of bearings that are in it etc. etc.
now that i re-read ur post, and now am coherent( has nothing to do with speaker covers i swear), i can give an answer. GO for the k-series. there's always a way to make it fit..ALWAYS.
If so, I can get the K turbos for $400 before my discount + $200 core
I'm doing some more testing later this week and check for a big announcement around friday or saturday I may be on to something (once again) that could bring decent to great turbo power for the peoples on a budget using easy to find parts

yeah I noticed that. I suppose I could check out in there more often, but as I don't have a V6 and don't know nearly as much about them I didn't think it would be beneficial.
