Most good muffler shops should carry CatCo high-flow cats.  See if local shops have them, but DON"T just weld it all in place. Make sure it can come out by bolts, so if you buy headers, a downpipe, or cat-back you can easily modify.

It is def. worth it for the down pipe.  Scott's downpipes eliminate the stock pre-cat and flow MUCH better than stock.  You will notice a little HP gain and TQ gain from his down pipe over your stock one.  I've chatted with him many times about his products, very high quality stuff and REALLY good pricing.  DEF DEF DEF Recommend!

Thanks Eric!

Honestly so far I haven't had one customer not pleased.

You are looking at about a 2-3 day max ship date if we have all the parts in stock.  Which we usallly do.

You should see about a 10-15 hp gain and a little deeper exhaust tone with one of my downpipes.

If you have any other questions, please let me know.

Thanks

hey scott, since it eliminates the pre-cats, what effect would this have on emissions? (im in ny an itz a bitch). the thing is, i removed the pre-cats from the stock manifold and ur downpipe got rid of the next one. so...am i in a fix for inspection? or will everything be fine.

If you still have the main converter on...you shouldn't have a problem.  All the pre-cats do is help out until the main cat is warmed up.

And for inspections you shouldn't have a problem.  Cause you can't even see the pre-cats anyway  Grin

This Down Pipe thig sounds great and everything But I would Like To replace this factory part. It seems as though it is the pre cat coming off the manifold. Its All melted out  Is there any where I can find a cheap one online. Dealer is like 550 Bucks. But If it can be elimanated then thats an option too  I guess If it won't create to much back Pressure?Huh??

There is 2 pre-cats on our cars.

One is in the rear exhaust manifold.
One is in the downpipe shortly after the bend off the front manifold.

If you look on the site I posted the link for above.  I sell after market performance downpipes  Grin

I'm Looking for the one off the front after the bend off the manifold.  I would really like to just replace this part.... Any help finding one would be appreciated.  But your saying that this cat can be eliminated all together with no negative effects?Huh Like no back pressure or like a popping noise when letting off of acceleration..

You won't be able to find just that part.

Nope you won't have any problems without the pre-cats in.
