The intercooler is used WITH  a turbo ....No turbo=no good

But if you really want to put one on you can.  You can use it as a Cold Air Intake.  You won't see much gains though.

yeah intercoolers are EXPENSIVE so it's not worth it. i bet it'd make one HELL of a transmission/oil cooler though.

an intercooler, does NOT have to go with a turbo. of course it may not be worth the money for More power as a cai would kill the same bird with a smaller stone. if u want to use it for another purpose other than air cooling such as COOLING UR ENGINE, then go for it cuz heat KILLS ENGINES. if u can somehow use it to drop engine temps, then go for it. engines last a LOT longer if they operate under LOWER temperatures. the closer they remain to outside regular temperatures, the better they are.

hes right, you dont HAVE to have a turbo to make use of an intercooler but it really wouldnt help at all not to mention youll prolly get flamed when youre out drivin around with a big a$$ intercooler and no turbo
