Look at the sticker in your door jamb for the production date.

As far as ABS goes, do you have a little ABS light that comes on in your dash when you start the car?  If you do, you have it, if you don't you don't.

HUB and BEARING, Eclipse, 2WD, w/o ABS  95-05

So, this one probably?  I have no ABS.  I wasn't sure if the I4's with rear drums used the galant or eclipse suspension components.  Thanks!

Well it's been months now.  I have ordered 4 rear hub assemblies, they all have come in as the wrong part.  Apparently Chrysler has changed all 95 to like 2000 models to one part number for this part (so the Dodge dealer says).  The one with the ABS or speed sprocket (whatever it is for) on the back of it.  It does not fit my base model '96.  the shaft is too long to fit where the cap is that covers the back of the assembly.  I have searched 4 major salvage yards and sent out email request on them.  I have not driven my car for 8 mnths now due to one stupid part.  Does anyone know where to get a rear hub assembly for a base model, w/rear drum, '96 avenger?  I really miss driving my car.

can you just strip the abs sprocket off and use the hub minus the sprocket? i'm just don't understand where the clearance issue is.. i'm not real familiar with it.
a scrap yard is guaranteed to have what you need..may involve some footwork though.

So your needing the hubs without the gear on the back? I have an almost new pair without the gears. The car was wrecked shortly after new ones were insatalled so they are still like new and has absolutely no play in them. Lemme know if your interested.

slightly off topic but that gear on the back is the sensor for the ABS as it spins it passes by a small sensor that reads it so thats how that works. just for your info
