Daimler-Chrysler agrees to settle ...
« on: December 07, 2005, 11:36:31 PM »

Who else besides me has gotten the settlement offer?
Anyone taken advantage of it yet?

Basically someone sued Daimler-Chrysler because they sold Sebrings and Avengers with 17" rims that were defective.
Chrysler decided that it was cheaper to settle the law suit than fighting it, so they are offering up to $275 per damaged rim.

For details and to see if you qualify for the reimbursement you have to check if you meet the criteria at: www.DeformedRimSettlement.com

What if I did not experience deformed rims in normal use within the 3 year warranty period or my lease term?
If you did not experience deformed rims in normal use within the 3 year warranty period or your lease term, you will not be entitled to benefits under this settlement and will not be releasing any claims against DaimlerChrysler or Mitsubishi.
Undecided Yeah I'm sure the extra year was the reason for 3 of my rims becoming excrement...
