After market bulbs I've tried just plain suck. I advise staying away from 'blue or cool' bulbs, out put is terrible. I ended up yanking them out after a month and put my stock bulbs back in, then I got Silverstars, pricey but very good bulbs. I live in deer  manufacturing part of the country, night vision is a must.
