does anyone know if they make a block heater for the v6? i dont really have any other ideas besides a block heater. it was like almost zero out last night and came out this morrin to start it and it almost did not start. i know its not my battery because i just had a load test on it and my old one was shot and put a new one in. it starts so nice now. it was really slow before, i just thought that was how the car started because it did that since i got it. any ideas? anyone live were it is really cold out in the winter to know how it starts? does anyone have a block heater in theirs?

you can get a 'universal' heater cheap..but they can be a pain. basically a small heater on a magnet you stick to the oil pan. they work, just a pain to take on and off. mount it on the end of a long dowel and don't forget to take it off before you do. in reality you can stick anywhere on the block, but the oil pan is probably the best area. stock heaters generally are mounted in a freeze plugs but i'm not sure if block heaters were ever put in these cars. don't think they were.
well im going over to chrysler to get my tranny looked at tommorow so i will ask them about them more. it started to leak. its still under warranty so i want them to look at it first. i dont want to f up anything so they should know a little more. i guess if they dont make them i got a car starter that will start it up when it hits a certian temp.
if they dont make them they also have hose heaters, how good do you think they are?

so i went over to chrysler today and they do make a block heater for the v6. its a kit which it has a battery blanket and the block heater. so it goes in tommarow to get the tranny checked and fixed then next week it is going in to have the block heater installed. I was going to do my tranny pan gasget but i blew out my ACL. so its fun cant even do simple things.
