I'm in dire need of some new shocks/struts. My Avenger is a '95 and, to my knowledge, has still got the factory suspension. It's getting to the point of squeaking just about everytime I hit a bump now. I'm thinking about going a lil bit lower and am wondering what y'all recommend getting/doing to accomplish this. By a little lower I do mean a little too. I don't wanna be slammed to the ground or anything. Just approx. 1" to 1.5" lower than stock to give the car a lil more of an aggressive look. You know, set the tires up into the fender wells a lil more. I have 18" wheels so the car is prob about .5" or so higher than stock (I tried to keep it as close to same tire height as possible). Also, my car is a lil outta camber every since that woman pulled out in front me and totaled it . So I guess I'll need to go ahead and take care of that while I'm at it. Any advice on that will be greatly appreciated as well.

Tien all in one unit These include coilovers AND Strut combo's built together ... These have great spring rates, are made as a unit so you do not have to assemble them are very reliable and easy to replace the entire suspension...There are several Tien units from the basic to the EDFC adjustable
I have always thought these were about the best way too go. My $.02.
you can try : www.sportcompactonly.com and www.sfxracing.com. just make sure you get springs for the right motor because since the v6 is heavier than the 4 cyl , the 4cyl springs wont work for the v6. and make sure you get springs and struts for the avenger/sebring, not the eclipse because i believe the eclipse struts are shorter.
Thanks y'all. I'll be sure to check those places out during my research. I'm hoping to be able to do this by or during this summer. I'll let y'all know how it goes.

a couple more quick questions. what all do i need to purchase when i move forward with this? just shocks & lowering springs? or sould i go ahead and replace the entire strut assembly while i'm at it? just wondering as i have absolutely no experience with this. also, as for my camber, should i go ahead resolve that issue as well? just curious as all this is new and confusing to me. (please forgive my ignorance—but, hey, you don't learn if you don't ask).

Well if you read the post all the questions were answered ... But here we go again YES replace the struts (AKA Shocks)...Camber must be corrected or you'll smoke tires every 1000 miles ... Budget about $1000 for parts/labor/alignment
I was figuring Do it yourself install .... The shops charge labor to install the camber kits ... Springs around $300 Struts around $350 Camber Kits .... $200 Alignment& Labor ..............$150
