alain have you actually put this tranny in your v6
read my signature I don't have a v6 I'm currently the only knowned 2.4L 4 bangers still in existance

plenty of stuff about transmission swap on "the other board" and 99% of them is about the stupid idea of putting the huge eclipse 3g transmission
the A543 was found mostly in the Daytona v6 , mitsubishi sohc engine 12v which share the same pattern as the 2.5/3.0 sohc 24v
in Daytona, Caravan, Le Baron and other cars with mitsubishi v6 engine the swap from A604 ATX to A543 MTX is pretty much straighforward and even the old axles are 100% compatible and with the right lenght
we know for years that this tranny would be a direct swap in our cars the problem beeing the electronic and the obsession to use the hydraulic clutch of the I4 engine but for youngsters it's sound much more cooler to get a eclipse 3g package and also 99% of them have never heard of a Daytona v6 mtx anyway

get the electonic working first then swap the transmission and have fun
actually no the right saying would be don't do nothing, keep talking and dreaming you are doing it since the late 90's and one day you will wake up with a v6 mtx parked in your driveway it will fall from the sky
when i wanted an engine/transmission swap I did one took me years to invent the right thing , to get all the right parts mostly because I had a severe cashflow problem beeing unemployed for 14 months but once I was ready I spent 3 weeks busting my ass and got a unique car
