Aaron, man don't do it.  You're just looking to get flamed.  Having a BOV sound with no turbo is like walking into a fight wearing a black belt and knowing nothing.  You're going to get your asskicked.  You might like that sound and I don't blame you.  But without the turbo it's not worth it.  Save up you can do a cheapo turbo set up for 800-1000 dollars.  Don't waste your money and time on something that will only end up making you hate it.

I'm not blasting you, if you want to do it then,

come on guys be nice..to each their own and if its not theirs...then they'll find out. ok Aaron dont feel bad or anything..but DT is right...it's RICE...and doesnt look too good when it comes to someone who knows something about power and performance out of a motor. of course it might be intimidating to another racer jus b/c they dont know what's under there and hear the sound, but if THEY have something...and u end up racing...you'l have a nice blow off sound...but the other guy will be too far ahead to hear it...just the riced civics that are able to stay within tailpipe smoke distance....
by the way, unless ur gonna go performance...again like Darktengu said..its NOT worth it.....just look up the sound somewhere , download it and press play when u hit the pedal...

No one was hating on you bro.  Everyone was just letting you know, that there is no reason to waste your money.  It would be better to save up a grand and do the turbo up.  It's cheap and it's not the greatest set up, but for a $1000 you can throw one on there, and not have everyone laughing.

well...the sound will only come from pressure being released...so unless u find some way to get that compressed air in ur intake...u have a lot to do..btw, what are the specs for ur car? it also sounds like u want sound..y not get an exhaust upgrade?...that DOES turn heads...

I don't know...I might have been hating a little....I have been in a hateful mood lately. Must be the holidays, or the fact that I am married now  Grin

its ok..as soon as anything hints rice...ppl get upset..especially since the reputation of the car isnt the best. not saying that u wanna go the rice way, but...its just a reaction due to the limited info u provided. its unfortunate about the situation ur in, but it seems like ur trying to move on..so good luck and hopefully u can get some good headturning upgrades. there's a lot around here.
