fog light question
« on: November 04, 2006, 12:19:53 AM »

How would I wire my fog lights to come on with my parking lights? Right now they don't come on unless I have my head lights on too. Its a 2000 dodge avenger, thanks in advance.

connect the foglights to the parking lights. at front, there's a spot for where the stock foglights connect to the parking lights. It should be on the driver's side. hope this helps.

I'll look for that first, the how to at asec showed how to jump a wire from the fog light fuse to the taillight fuse. That seems like it would over load it??? But I guess the fuse would blow first right?

that would just connect it in parallel so the voltage would be the same across the two wires. the lights should be amp rated, so they wouldnt overload unless there is a misconnection. as long as u wire the fogs to the parking lights, you should be fine. i'll be putting some fogs in mine..they wont be visible though, only the glow will be.
