carbon fiber is alright, but i perfer the first ones. those are pretty nice. altho, you may want to consider something w/o exposed lugs. i'm just thinking about from a cleaning point of view. those lil rivets thingys on the carbon fiber ones would prove to be hell to clean. plus, rims tend to get somewhat beat up around the lug area when ppl change/rotate your tires .

i'm a peripheral visionary. i can see into the future, but way off to the side.
well..the finish is carbon fiber..but doesnt indicate that it actually IS made of carbon fiber. I like the first ones as i was considering them for myself (weird how i have so many things in common w/ that eclipse kid). the carbon fiber ones arent carbon fiber and im almost 100 percent sure, but i dont like the idea of adding a strip of carbon fiber look if u wont do an entire scheme..it doesnt appeal to me...maybe diff. for everyone else.
well, I went with the cf ones, they gave me a discount because i'm on asog and asec, plus he only charged me for the price of the gunmetal version, which is 80 bucks less, with kumho tires all season z rated, hub rings, mounted balanced, and free tire replacement on all four, shipped to my door by monday for 899 out the door.... cant wait. HOW ARE 18'S IN THE WINTER? they guy said they werent that great in the winter, but i've been riding on 17s for the last 5 years. 16's this summer, eck...good bye 16s. the rims weigh 19 lbs each minus tires. i got the 225 40 18's . painting calipers blue in the spring. already got an offer of 300 bucks for my 16" chromes.
you will want to put the 16s on in the winter if you are going to see any kind of snow at all. the tires are not made for snow and the salt is hard on the rims.
