420A Valve Seals
« on: March 02, 2007, 11:06:27 AM »

She's burning a little oil and an ex-chrysler mechanic/420A Avenger owner said the valve seals are what could be the problem.

I'm not leaking oil, it's just using it.

: What is the name of the stuff Dodge sells that you spay into the intake for carbon?

Everyone: If anyone has done this before (replacement), how hard is it and should I just go ahead and leave it to my mechanic?

Making sure you valves seal correctly is VERY important, I'd take it to a mechanic.  (That way if it's done wrong you have someone else to blame!)

Mod List.  Um WAY too many to fit on here.  But the engine can handle about 800HP

Its mopar combustion chamber cleaner.
and try some seafoam before you go about replacing valve seals.

and a compression check/then leakdown test would be the first place I start when burning oil.
