so.....this morring when i stated my car it was fine, no noises.  After class it was fine.  Then i was going to go back to class, i started it up to let it warm up and there was a whining noise.  I drove it for awile and it is still their.  The sound is comming from the passerside of the motor.  It sounds like it is belt driven nosie.  I checked all the fluids and their good.  The belts were replaced at 25000 and there is 50000 on it now.  Any ideas what it could be?  How many thousand miles do you replace the belts?  could it be the belts?  i checked them not to long ago and they looked ok

so will it harm anything if it is the bearings and it dont replace (alt/Compressor/ect.) them right away?
