the only good ground kit is made by sun auto it actually has a current stabilizer and is dyno proven to make power. make a kit is easy and very cost effeactive. do not hover buy one off of ebay i know they are cheap but i but one and had a ton of problems with it after i installed it. the one i bought hada a round perch that all the wires grounded to and it was bolted to the bat term. that turned out to be a bad ideal because the wires now became a secondarly groung instead of primarly. i even test the center bolt one time and how no current what so ever wiggle it a little and it had current. i have made ground kits for a neon and a cavi i had once, and they came out great with no probs , but i decided to take the easy way out with the venge and was sorry after words. so if u buy one go with only sun auto but it is very expensive so i would say makeing a kit would just be a trip done to ur local car stereo store to get high current wire and connectors and a good terminal for the bat and would be a lot lighter on yu're wallet
the "Big Three" upgrade means improving the current capacity of three cables: 1) alternator positive to battery positive, 2) battery negative to chassis, and 3) engine ground to chassis. Some people replace the factory wiring; others add additional cables to the factory wiring
a grounding kit improves the grounding of the vehicle and consists usually of a bunch of grounding straps or cables coming off the negative battery terminal and going to various grounding points on the body and the block.
