its a sound concept but to keep the price down they used inferior media inside the filter. Our economy line filter will actually filter better. If the put better media in it or used the technology for our gold line filters it would be great.
..well..y dont they make it great...other wise it really wouldnt be worth it and after a while..ppl would figure it out n they'd be in the excrement place. i mean, stuff that's good is never really cheap.
....................... um........... no. you paid $10 for the instructions, 20 for box and packing materials, 5 for the colors on the box and 5 for the shaped metal. thats about the gist of it.

That happened to me, about the injectors. It was Autozone injectors. When I started it, I had to crank it over a bunch before it would start, then when it did it would puff black out the tail pipe. I put OEM injectors back in it and it started back up just fine. Cost me a fortune though. From now on I'm buying any OEM parts from discountmitsubishiparts.com
..submit that site, i fixed it and found what was missing. i ended up buying this maintenance free intake and some parts to put my exhaust back together..my fuel rail-i think thats what it is- broke from being bent too much..wel..it developed a crack and was spewing out gasoline so i had to fix that too...at least right now everythng seems on track cept my downpipe. i cannot find an angle to tighten one of the screws, i'd need something like a snake wrench (no pun intended). anyway, for certain..castrol high mileage and mobil one filter are mine..i've finally decided.
What exactly does "high-mileage" oils have different with them? And if you start using them after using whatever you've been using up until you hit 75,000 or more miles, would there be any side effects? (I should hope not since you'd have to switch to it after hitting a high-mileage, since it'd be silly to be using it if you only had, like, 10,000 miles on your car.) I've just always heard it's not good to go switching your oil all willy-nilly, and was just wondering. Of course, I guess if you only switch it that one time that's not really all willy-nilly… but still, you know what I mean.
I would just google it or something, but I'm lazy .

i'm a peripheral visionary. i can see into the future, but way off to the side.
High mileage oil has additives in it that cause your seals to soften and swell. As seals in your engine get older the heat causes them to get hard and brittal (sp?) high mileage just rejuvinates them. It also has more detergent in it so it will clean your engine better. I honestly would not recommend using it every oil change, even on a higher mileage car. I use it about once every 4 oil changes.
