The 95-00 year avengers amd sebrings had 2.0 four bangers and 2.5 v6s ---- they started putting 2.7 in the last couple of years. its a mattter of opinion on which years are the best --- most ppl think the 95 is good while i fall into the group that think the 97 a/s was the best year. so far the biggest problem has been with the transaxle- very long drawn out story. the problem is overheating, burning up, whatever you want to call it but it has a heat issue. with the right precautions and proper maintenance these transmissions last forever.

i dont know much about the  sebring platform im a member of 3si.org i have a RT/ Twin Turbo 3s
so my wife was looking at some sebrings and came across a 97 she called me and told me about it...its in pretty sweet condition, it is the 2door lxi coupe, but she thought it had a 2.7 but when it got home i realized it actually had a 2.5 and corrected her

i just didnt want her with the 00 2.7 engine cuz they had problems

but no worries now i guess as it is a 2.5
