haha we should have something like "rolling thunder" with all members, roll around the country and to the main head quarters of Dodge. Give them the accepted design on which we agree on! No imagine that, a huge parking lot full of memebers (possible future owners of a revised Avenger) peacefully protesting the boxy 4-door Avenger.
For the record I am not trying to hi-jack your idea or anything, just helping expound on it a bit. I figure since Daimler Chrysler likes to use the same platform for EVERYTHING, as is apparent by their latest vehicle designs, we could help them with the Avenger Concept and use a different platform, but stick to one that they are using. As soon as I saw JBI's sketch it made me think of another Chrysler Vehicle in production.

I'm down for doing some serious work, well anything I can do. If we REALLY want to go somewhere with this then let's be serious. Nykon has a good grasp of what Manufacturers look for. And JBI has some good tech ideas. I'm good looking. We should be able to come up with something.

I think that we should start e-mailing Daimler Chrylser HQ. Go straight to the top until we get somewhere. Most dealers I know, and I deal with a lot, don't really care and will just throw out whatever we send them. We need to do something on a higher level to get noticed. I will get in contact with some people on the dealer level and see what I can find out.
find a fax number and keep faxing it. paper can't be deleted with a mouse . it has to be hand tossed and human curiousity usually gets you to look at what your chunking.
Actually we should get a petition website up like people did to get family guy on the air with fox. That would probably work a little better that just annoying them with faxes
Fox can afford to have more bad shows than good (family guy is great). if their analysts think a show will do a little less than it's last, it's ok. they can afford it. If a Automaker thinks a car will not sell so well, they scrap it. Fox has people that actually check around for public opinion. Automakers rarely do. the only reason fox saw that website is because it actually got some press news and (gasp!) surprise!! Fox is one of the leading news channels. A seperate website is not going to work unless we can get it announced on CABLE or SATELLITE news channels. Local network isn't guarenteed that someone linked to someone important (you know, the grapevine) will see it and raise their little eyebrow and go "now this looks interesting". A website is a passive attempt.
Ever notice how annoying popups were before all the popup blockers? you had to MOVE your mouse. CLICK on the 'x'. and WATCH 15 take it's place until you realized the only way to make them go away was either click on the window or unplug your machine and that outlet is sooooooo far away when your tired as hell and have to fight with the wires and the stretching and the sweating and the cussing.
A piece of paper constantly being ejected by a machine is eventually so annoying that someone does something about it. ie: "CAN YOU GET THIS &(&*#&$ PAPER DOWN TO R&D SO THESE PEOPLE WILL STOP FAXING US!!! THIS IS ACCOUNTING FOR CHRIST'S SAKE!!!" "sure boss" R&D: Whats this? Flunkey: Some paper that keeps getting faxed to us. R&D: Did you read it? Flunkey: ....... um........... no. R&D: It's a petition of people who hate our Avenger concept. Flunkey: (more interested) Well that's not good for sales. R&D: Look! they gave a design that they ALL liked! I believe we can work with this. Flunkey: Well, you need to get to it!
