Kenwood deck question
« on: October 17, 2006, 12:17:45 AM »

I just bought a floor model kenwood deck from a small audio store about 4 months ago, it had been working great then all of a sudden when I put a cd in it just spits it right back out.  I tried to clean the laser reader but that did nothing.  I really hate to junk it and have to get a new one, but I also hate to spend more than the deck's worth to fix it.  Any ideas or suggestions?

It should have a year warranty depending on model # even if it was floor model you should have a purchase date when you bought it

floor models usually are bought as is with no warranty, sorry Angry  ive worked at a couple electronics stores and thats usually the way it goes.  as far as your problem, sounds to me like the laser reader is off track, i think your best bet is to get a new one
