Hello all! Please forgive the question if it's been asked before... did a search and came up with nothing. I just bought a 99 Avenger ES and it didn't come with an owners manual. I've also searched online and haven't found the manual available to view.
So, I'm wondering how you program the garage door opener remote keys that are on the driver's visor. Any help or links to an online owners manual would be greatly appreciated.
hold the garage door opener next to the buttons and push the opener button at the same time as the visor button, and test and play around you'll get it
You might have a newer garage door opener, with a multiple code system. Check your garage door owners manual for details.
If you don't have the manual, just google the model number.
Its usually very easy to do. I had to press a button on the opener (mounted on the ceiling), then hold the button on the remote and visor at the same time to program. It took a couple of tries, but finally worked.
I had it on mine too. i don't have a garage so no need for an opener but i DID read up on it and it can be used to turn on the lights in your house if (you're rich enough or lazy to use it that way) you have the right Reciever for it. The company that made them had the word "Home" or "House" in their name. They have an official website.
