What all is recommended to chopped off for weight loss? I have concidered cutting out all A/C and its components, lighter seats, lighter door panels, taking out the back seat and replacing it with a removeable carpet that buttons to the floor, body parts like: hood & fenders. Aside from removing things like your speakers, spare tire & jack, and yourself (like you fat people) what else?
What is your goal? You can do lighter doors, and pull almost EVERYTHING from your car. Even the dash can come out. You just have to make sure you get all the connectors out of the dash to reconnect for power.

Mod List. Um WAY too many to fit on here. But the engine can handle about 800HP
Those spendy light weight rims I think would be a good first step, and a pulley with CAI. Call me crazy, but I think a spare is worth it's weight in gold (no pun intended)
all depends on what youre lookin for, you can gut the whole interior leaving just the drivers seat. not very practical tho. theres www.topshopheadliners.com which will sell you some fiberglass or carbon interior pieces but you could always make your own too which is a bit more time consuming but way cheaper
What did you do w/ the space you made from removing all the parts? Did you carpet over all? I found a way to do this, but I need the parts from an upholstery shop to make buttons on the carpet. It would button down directly to the steel body of the floor w/ screws that have a 1/2 button side on them. The other half is attached to the carpet. I got the idea from something I saw at work, but one part didn't a long enough shaft to go though the carpet. I feel like if you take them out you need to replace them w/ something to keep your interior from being to ugly. At first I thought of just using stainless self-drilling screws, but that won't be as easy to remove for maintenance. Anybody want to comment...what did you do?........
ehh, that sounds like too much work. just buy some velcro and stick carpet down if you want something there. better than drilling a bunch of holes in your car imo. i just leave mine ugly and bare. don't bother me any
hey i took out my rear seat before. it doesnt weigh anything , it's foam. IF your serious about weight reduction, consider this.... replace sunroof with plexiglass (keep the clear protective film on the top and tint it. that'll shave at least 5 lbs. you can do this with your rear side windows, get the udp, that's about 10 lbs or more, move the battery to the trunk in the center for better weight distribution (the rear half of our cars are a lot lighter than the front).. get a carbon fiber hood and trunk lid (bout 1200 bucks total from streetconcept.com) that'll shave another 15 lbs... there's also lightweight radiators and fans out there. lightweight seats, probably shave off another 10 -20 lbs... enkei has some 13 lb rims... i'd leave the spare in there for the winter... i dunno anyone have other ideas? oh if you got a system lose the subs. oh,,, get your front fenders replaced with ones that arent metal. you can get a smaller gas tank. lose the ac, have other pulleys made to replace the other ones. replace your cam gears with aftermarket aluminum ones, you can cut holes in your hood, bottom of rear bumper and screen it for less drag... lowering might help with wind resistance
Wouldn't that be bad for body roll? I thought the doors helped stuctural integrity. I understand the weight loss would be awesome!! And it would be great for people w/ fiberglass interior panels & lambo doors. Combined w/ those and hood, fenders, trunk lid, removal of back seat, AC compressor, performance seats, the weight loss would be great!!
