I just wanted to thank everybody at ASOG for being here, and letting me feel like I'm not the only Avenger owner out there. Here in Oklahoma noone I've met knows anything about the Avenger. Some have never even heard of the cars. I love my Avenger and I just want to let everyone know we need to stand up out there and be noticed. We need to make everyone else look bad, so we all as Avenger/Sebring owners can be more proud of the cars we drive. I want to see an issue of SportCompactOnly or some other tuner mag w/ an issue about a bad-ass Avenger or Sebring.
i've been planning on doing work on my car that would get my car in one of those mags. its a lotta work tho.
yeah, no s**t. ive got those plans too, 6 years of work and prolly like 10 grand later im still not even close. youll have that tho right? hes right tho, we do need to get our cars noticed, and feared
then y do they have '85 corollas on there??? honda fits and all those bull crap excuses for a reason to sit around a steering wheel! two and two dont make five so i dont know why they waste their time on doing the same sh*t over and over . lets modify a civic!! lets modify a civic!! lets modify a civic! get the f*ck outta here with them d*mn fart buckets!....alright...*take a deep breath*...proceed.
You are absolutely right 'bout that same cars per issue sh*t!!! I see Supra's, Civic's, WRX's, Neon's, & 350Z's in those all the time, it make me sick! I need something I can relate to. Who-ever is right though, they do mostly mainstream cars..... and the do some really STUPID $HIT!!! Think 'bout it though.... if we got a whole article in one like Sport Compact Car or Import Tuner the Avenger could really grow and some of you vendors might get some publicity to make more money. Think about it.
One thing to remember is that the Avenger/Sebring does not come with HP or the option to make it easily nor represent power. Those cars that were previously mentioned do however, whether it's through a same brand motor swap, upgrades, or turbo add on (not as "cool" though). If there were more than 5 4g63 AWD swaps or even just the 4g63 swaps into our cars, the Avenger/Sebring would make a good mag spread, just because of it being noticed by the general public. The 1G-2G AWD/FWD turbo has already been in several spreads so we know that there's something there and if our cars came with the 4G63 from the start, we would have been in the same spotlight. Cheap, new, and powerful, if a car fits any two of those catagories it'll catch a mag writer's eye as those other cars do.
