What ever happened to the cps relocation project that exile was working on?  Last I saw, quite some time ago, there were pics on their page and they seemed to have the whole ordeal basically figured out.  Were there some kind of probs?  It seemed to me like they were ready to find someone to start fabrication. Huh

I'm just straight up sick of putting trannys in vengie.  I completely lost count, but i'd have an awesome car if i had the money i've put into tranny fluid alone.  I am READY for a manual tranny.

No not that Lingenfelter.  I don't even own a Chevy, and I've never met that Vette guy.  I can only shun myself for not actually being related to him.

the cps is only half the battle.....

with the relocation they were able to mimick the crank signal. But the other problem was putting a 5spd trans into the car.

Avenger127(Joe) had the relocation and worked to get a trans in the car. The frame rails had to be cut and welded(huge job that can sacrafice the integrity of the car). Custom axles needed to be made along with all the other headaches of swapping over.

Eventually he got it all in and the trans was locked up. He was over it. Putting the engine in and pulling it out numerous times just to set it up.... He parted it out.

Basically... what im saying is there is a lot more to the CPS relocation. And personally there is other ways to mimick a crank signal.....

Dont hold your breathe
