Well, that isn't throttle body machining. That would be throttle body porting which I don't do. Mainly because I don't believe it gives a significant improvement vs the expense.
If you can DIY though, by all means try it. It can't hurt.

I just wanted more air in for more power.  If anybody can post a pic of a bored V6 TB I'd greatly appreciate it.  I don't want to go the the max, I wanted to go to 56-58mm.  I don't any empty chamber opened up or berrings hit.  I don't doubt anybody's machining experience w/ TB's, I just want to see a bored out V6 TB.  If anybody has one, let's see it, please.

That's a DSM 420a TB off a 4 cyl engine and not like the one that redstar_gearhead sent me. His TB had 4 mounting holes and this one has 2 holes. Also, that TB is ported in that it still uses the stock throttle plate. The guy only removed the hump in front of the plate. If your car has that TB, I'll do the full work on it and bore it to 55mm w/a guarantee that it will flow much more CFMs than anyones ported TB.

He's right, and I've seen that one before.  That is the one that gave me the idea in the first place.  I already knew his was an I4, I need a pic of a V6 TB.  Anybody got one?..........

So you did or did not bore out where the out at the butter fly and replace the plate? If you didn't bore it out all the way then I need pics of one that was w/ plate replaced.  I want to bore it all the bay though 58mm & replace the plate. No tapering, just 58mm all the way w/ butterfly replaced.  I still think it can be done.  I just want to see pics so I can prove it can be done to any machinist.

This is really PI$$ING me off!!!  I have been looking everywhere and I can't find someone who can bore out a V6 Avenger throttle body!!!  I just want it anywhere from 56-58mm.  I don't want 59mm because I want to play it safe and not risk cracking the wall by the bearings.  Anybody?....

That's nice for you, but it doesn't help me any.  We need to establish a size reccommended & link to people who can do this.  Regardless of size though I need a machinist.
