I get a vibration that starts around 2800 and goes away around 3500 rpm. It started shortly after I had the tranny and clutch replaced. It is most notable in 3rd gear but does it in all 5. It will do it when I free rev the engine but not until it is warmed up. It doesn't do it if the engine is cold. The motor mounts have been replaced but it didn't help. Shortly after the motor mount were replaced the rear motor mount bracket broke. After it broke the vibration went away but it started to grumble in reverse or if I really jumped on it in 1st or 2nd gears. The grumble would go away when the RPM's went above 2000. After the bracket was replaced the grumble went away but the vibration returned just as before. Wierd and very annoying. Could this be a loose part in the clutch? or the clutch not being centered properly? Or is it something else?
How long have you had the clutch? There is a break-in period where you CAN get all kinds of weird noises. If it's after the break-in and you did it properly, take it back to where the work was done and have the look at it.

Mod List. Um WAY too many to fit on here. But the engine can handle about 800HP
The vibration started right around 1000 miles after the clutch and tranny were installed. That was last July. The car had 159K miles on it then and has 214K miles on it now. I find it hard to believe that I have shown this car to at least 5 shops and twice as many mechanics and nobody has a clue as to what it is.
Depending on what kind of gear lube you used, the sulfer content can ruin bearings inside your tranny. See if you can e-mail Roger Renyolds off of the boards he's a big tranny guy.
